Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $28.38 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).Effective July 1, 2025, candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they have the minimum education and experience listed from the class specification. Job duties include, but may not be limited to:

• Repairing, maintaining, replacing, and rebuilding mechanical and electrical automobile components in accordance with established automotive repair and maintenance practices.
• Performing minor and major engine repair or replacement, differential repairs, repairing of electrical components, air conditioning systems, steering and brake systems, as well as automotive computer diagnostics and repair.
• Performing other mechanical tasks such as changing oil, replacing tires, changing and/or replacing batteries as well as engine tune-ups.
• Documenting repairs to vehicles and cleaning work areas as well as performing other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
