Job summary

Dynamic Research, Inc. seeks a Vehicle Test Engineer to lead testing programs on vehicle dynamics, ADAS, ESC, and automated driving technologies. The role combines hands-on testing, data analysis, and technical report development to support validation and customer projects.

You will work with customers and internal test engineers, operating robotic driving equipment and instrumentation to execute procedures and deliver detailed test outputs and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 3 years’ experience automotive testing for FMVSS standards such as FMVSS108, FMVSS126 or 135.
• Experience creating technical reports, engineering documentation, and test summaries.
• Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics, handling, braking, and Electronic Stability Control (ESC) systems.
• Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge – jump starting vehicles, changing tires, etc.
• MS Office products including Excel and Word.
• Experience with MATLAB or other coding language.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and document vehicle testing programs focusing on dynamics and ADAS.
• Conduct track tests including precision driving maneuvers and use of track equipment.
• Analyze data to ensure safety and performance standards are met.
• Prepare test plans, procedures, engineering summaries, and validation reports.
• Translate technical findings into actionable conclusions and recommendations.
