Job summary

Advanced Automotive Technology is seeking a Vehicle Dynamics Simulation Engineer to join the Vehicle Dynamics Digital Development team, supporting Advanced Vehicle Programs. You will drive ride, handling, and steering performance through virtual validation and correlated models.

You will build and update dynamic models, perform offline simulations, and assist with vehicle tuning via HIL/SIL integration. Collaboration across teams and proactive workload management are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years in vehicle dynamics or chassis design.
• 1 year in Multi-Body Simulation, preferably ADAMS Car.
• Strong understanding of ride, handling, steering with metrics and tire models.
• Familiar with chassis subsystems and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Execute and update the virtual workplan for ride, handling, and steering performance.
• Build and correlate vehicle dynamics models and recommend countermeasures with validated correlations.
• Perform offline simulation assessments and support vehicle tuning through HIL/SIL integration as needed.
• Prioritize workload to balance internal deliverables with program needs.
• Represent Digital Vehicle Dynamics in technical discussions with interfacing teams and participate in process development.
