Vehicle Test Engineer - System Test is responsible for the validation and verification of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) components and systems. This role involves executing test plans, analyzing test data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure system performance and safety standards are met.

The role involves verification of ADAS systems on vehicle and bench test environments, including developing detailed test cases, operating testing equipment, and analyzing results to identify issues. The candidate will collaborate with software and hardware teams to resolve problems.

• Perform manual and automated testing of ADAS.
• Develop, review, and execute detailed test cases based on system requirements.
• Operate bench testing equipment and vehicle testing setups.
• Collect and document test data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Analyze test results to identify issues, root causes, and system deficiencies.
• Generate test reports, including defect logs, test summaries, and compliance documentation.

Education

Bachelor’s in engineering (Electrical, Computer, Mechatronics, or related)

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in automotive or embedded systems testing.
• Hands-on experience testing ADAS systems or similar safety-critical automotive systems.
• Knowledge of vehicle communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, LIN).
• Experience with HIL/SIL testing platforms (dSPACE, Vector CANoe, etc.).
• Ability to analyse data and generate detailed reports.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with ADAS sensor technologies (LiDAR, Radar, Cameras).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (CAPL, Python, MATLAB).
• Prior experience in a testing role within an OEM or Tier-1 supplier.
