Job summary

Waymo is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager in Cybersecurity to design and drive the horizontal vehicle cybersecurity roadmap across Waymo Driver platforms. You will coordinate internal engineering, product management, and fleet operations to implement, validate and maintain base cybersecurity features.

You will lead end-to-end processes, ensure alignment with ISO/SAE 21434 and regulatory standards, and report on software release security metrics, balancing security with operational

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Technical Program Management within embedded systems or safety-critical engineering environments
• BA/BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity or equivalent
• Fluent in embedded vehicle cybersecurity concepts and systems engineering workflows

Responsibilities

• Design, own, and drive the vehicle cybersecurity roadmap across platforms
• Coordinate internal engineering, product management, and operations for cybersecurity features
• Manage end-to-end Vehicle Security Requirement Process Flow from ideation to verification
• Drive software release cybersecurity reporting and stakeholder updates
• Partner with Fleet Operations to balance security and operational performance
• Ensure base vehicle security architectures meet ISO/SAE 21434 and UN ECE requirements
