Job summary

Waymo is seeking a Technical Program Manager to drive cross-functional roadmap execution for the Waymo Driver platform. The role emphasizes policy, process, and risk management across hardware and software domains, with collaboration across multiple teams and executives.

You will identify gaps, propose scalable solutions, manage end-to-end programs, and develop presentations for stakeholders. Hybrid schedule; base salary range provided above, with bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in CS, EE, Robotics, ME or related field.
• 5+ years of systems engineering or adjacent field experience.
• Understanding of Systems Engineering Processes (use cases to requirements to architecture to DVP/V&V).
• Experience managing end-to-end systems projects and executing strategic initiatives.
• Experience in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams to design processes and implement programs.

Responsibilities

• Identify gaps and propose changes to policy, systems, and process frameworks.
• Develop scalable solutions and manage risks across the organization.
• Support or lead complex multidisciplinary projects including schedules, risks, and stakeholder communication.
• Create presentations with messages tailored to executives.
• Drive recommendations through to implementation and results.
• Develop and manage testing/analysis practices for HW/SW systems.
