Job summary

Waymo is seeking a Technical Program Manager to drive complex HW/SW systems across platforms and geographies. You will identify gaps, propose policy and process improvements, and manage risks while delivering scalable solutions.

You will work with cross-functional teams, create executive-ready presentations, and lead end-to-end programs from planning through deployment. This role reports to the Director, Technical Program Management and offers a hybrid schedule across US locations with a

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in systems engineering or an adjacent field.
• Understanding of Systems Engineering Processes (i.e. use cases to requirements to architecture to design review to DVP/V&V, etc.).
• Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end systems integrated projects or programs and executing complex strategic and operational initiatives.
• Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Identify gaps and propose changes to existing policy, systems, and process frameworks.
• Develop scalable solutions and manage risks across the organization, establishing best practices.
• Support or lead complex, multidisciplinary projects including managing schedules, identifying risks, and communicating goals to stakeholders.
• Create presentations with compelling messages tailored to executives and other audiences.
• Drive recommendations through to implementation and measurable results.
• Develop and manage testing and analysis best practices for complex HW/SW systems.
