Job summary

ADESA, a Carvana owned company, seeks an Assistant General Manager to lead vehicle operations and enhance the customer experience at our Plainfield auction site. You will guide a high-performing team and drive effective processes, communications, and key metrics.

Success requires 5+ years of people leadership, 7+ years in customer service, and automotive/auction industry experience. Relocation assistance is available as part of career growth with a Fortune 500 company.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
5+ years of people management experience.
7+ years in customer service.
Automotive/auction experience is preferred.
CRM experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead from the front by setting cultural tone and facilitating positivity, customer focus, and teamwork.
Recruit and hire exceptional team members and manage performance and career development.
Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and directives; handle employee relations.
Lead dealer consignment and commercial accounts to maximize profitable sales.
Support end-to-end solutions for customers and advise on products and services.
Create and maintain positive rapport with customers and employees at the auction site.
Turn initiatives into actionable tasks with cross-functional collaboration.
