Overview

Genesis of Southwest Houston is part of the fast growing Group 1 Automotive, a leader in automotive retail. We are looking to add a Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to our team! We buy quality, pre-owned vehicles each month from prospective private parties and our own internal customer list. The ideal candidate will be part of a growing team in charge of sourcing quality vehicles from a multitude of sources and work directly with our used car department. We need someone with a driven and competitive spirit who is hungry to make money. Dealership experience is strongly preferred but we are open to resumes from everyone!

Responsibilities:

  • Contact customers (phone, email) to maintain and improve customer loyalty and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop pipeline of sales and business opportunity (partnerships, etc.) leads through networking, referrals and set appointments.
  • Work with sales management on executing best 'buy back' opportunities and strategies.
  • Research and stay current in auto consumer and industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • Dealership experience is strongly preferred.
  • Superior communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organization and follow-through skills.
  • Solid working knowledge of the Internet.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
