Job summary

Joe Myers Toyota is seeking an enthusiastic Vehicle Acquisition & Exchange Agent in Houston to drive inventory growth by prospecting private-party sellers and arranging dealership visits for appraisals.

You will engage customers in person and by phone, think critically to overcome objections, and maintain positive relationships throughout the acquisition process. Training is provided, with opportunities for advancement.

The Vehicle Acquisition & Exchange Agent is an extension of the sales department but will be primarily focused on and specifically trained to acquire additional inventory for the dealership through active prospecting using all available prospecting resources to identify and engage private parties looking to sell their vehicle. The ideal candidate enjoys consistent interaction with customers throughout the day, both in person and over the phone. They also set appointments with potential customers to visit the dealership for an appraisal in order to acquire their vehicle.

Joe Myers Toyota Vehicle Acquisition & Exchange Agents are expected to have clear communication on the phone and in person with customers looking to sell their vehicle, think critically and overcome objections, diligently follow up with clients, sell vehicles as well as purchase, and have a fun, positive attitude.
