Job summary

DJ's Landscape Management is seeking a hands-on Vegetation Control Crew member to support a small team in maintaining commercial client sites throughout the season. You may hand-pull weeds or use professional spray applications, with license sponsorship available.

We sponsor training, materials, and exam fees to help you grow your career and increase earning potential. Team-based environment, safety-focused, outdoor work in Minnesota.

Qualifications

• Ability to walk for long periods.
• Able to carry backpack sprayer up to 50 pounds.
• Read pesticide labels and follow label rates.
• Licensed or able to obtain pesticide license (sponsor).
• Smartphone required for maps and directions.

Responsibilities

• Assist a small team keeping commercial sites looking sharp all season.
• Hand-pull weeds and apply spray as needed.
• Identify common weeds of Minnesota.
• Operate and care for assigned equipment.
• Read map directions from mobile device or hard copy.
• Maintain safety and professionalism on site.

DJ's Landscape Management is looking for a hands-on Vegetation Control Crew member to assist a small team keeping our commercial client sites looking sharp all season long. Requirements

• The ability to walk for long periods of time
• Able to carry a backpack sprayer weighing up to 50 pounds
• The ability to take direction from the crew lead and work as team
• The ability to identify common weeds of Minnesota
• The ability to operate and care for assigned equipment
• Skill in reading map directions from a mobile device or hard copy
• Desire to work daily at the highest level of professionalism, quality, and performance
• Desire to work with a team to accomplish goals
• Ability to bend, squat, and lift for long periods of time
• Able to work outdoors in a wide variety of conditions for an extended period of time.
• A valid license or the ability to obtain one.
• Ability to read pesticide labels and accurately measure pesticides according to label rate.
• Strong attention to detail and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
