Goode Company is seeking a Vegetable Prep team member at the Stafford Commissary to prepare and portion vegetables with care and strict food-safety standards. You will follow recipes and production sheets to ensure readiness for restaurant service and events.

The role emphasizes knife skills, sanitation, organization, teamwork, and reliability in a fast-paced commissary environment with varied early-morning through weekend and holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Professional kitchen or commissary experience preferred.
• Ability to follow written recipes and directions with accuracy.
• Knife skills, sanitation awareness, organization, urgency, dependability, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Follow production sheets, recipes, prep lists, yields, portions, and daily priorities accurately.
• Wash, peel, trim, cut, portion, mix, label, cool, store, and rotate vegetables and ingredients safely.
• Prepare vegetables to established cuts, specifications, and quality standards for Goode Company restaurants and events.
• Set up and maintain a clean, organized, fully stocked workstation and production area.
• Monitor product quality and communicate shortages, waste, or specification concerns to Commissary leadership.
• Use knives, smallware, scales, slicers, and other commercial equipment safely and efficiently.
