Job summary

Gott’s Roadside Commissary is seeking a dedicated Prep Cook to join the kitchen team. You will prepare ingredients, assemble sauces and dressings, and ensure all items meet strict quality and safety standards. The role requires adherence to HACCP, proper labeling, portioning, and close communication with staff.

Morning availability is required, with weekend and holiday shifts as part of the schedule. Candidates should be comfortable in a high-paced environment and maintain clean, organized work

Qualifications

• Prior kitchen experience preferred.
• CA Food Handlers Certification required.
• Must wear close-toed, non-slip shoes.
• Knowledge of HACCP and FIFO.
• Ability to work in a high-paced environment with accuracy and speed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to recipes in a timely and efficient manner.
• Wash, chop, and slice vegetables using kitchen equipment.
• Prepare sauces, dressings, pickled ingredients, and other items.
• Label and portion ingredients for packaging following FIFO and HACCP.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and equipment.
