Job summary

Okland Construction Company, Inc. seeks a VDC Engineer in Salt Lake City who will drive modeling, coordination, and estimation efforts across diverse projects.

You will use AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and Assemble to build and refine 2D/3D models, supporting project planning and execution. You will collaborate with design and field teams, develop logistics visuals, and contribute to preconstruction efforts with compelling visualizations and sequencing models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Civil Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in commercial construction, VDC, BIM coordination.
• Hands-on experience with BIM and VDC technologies (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Assemble).
• Experience developing and coordinating 2D/3D construction models for building, site, and MEP coordination.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 2D and 3D construction models to support planning, coordination and execution.
• Create detailed visual deliverables: site logistics plans, sequencing graphics, coordination drawings.
• Support multidisciplinary coordination across architectural, structural, civil, and MEP systems to resolve conflicts early.
