Job summary

Unknown company is seeking a VDC Manager in Richmond, VA to lead the Virtual Design and Construction team and ensure efficient VDC processes that align with project milestones. The role guides strategy, fosters innovation, and manages budgets, schedules, and staffing across current and future projects.

The ideal candidate will mentor a multidisciplinary VDC group, coordinate with project managers and field leadership, and drive adoption of BIM tools and workflows across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with Revit.
• 5+ years of experience as a Project Coordinator.
• Electrical construction experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and guide the VDC team, holding direct reports accountable for production.
• Develop the VDC strategic plan in coordination with group leadership and drive innovation.
• Develop VDC budget estimates for projects, and review and track them throughout the project.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal clients to keep VDC processes efficient.
• Promote tools & technology adoption (Revit, Navisworks, BIM workflows) across the department.
