Job summary

Jacobs seeks an experienced VDC Lead to manage digital construction efforts within its Advanced Manufacturing Group. You will drive VDC/BIM execution, coordinate model deliverables, and lead clash resolution across EPCM projects, with responsibilities spanning 3D/4D/5D, laser scans, and field support.

The role offers on-site leadership, collaboration with clients, and a hybrid work model across U.S. locations, including opportunities near Corpus Christi, TX.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience in VDC/BIM roles within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of BIM technologies and their application in manufacturing environments in Design and Construction.
• Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, Revizto) and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Experience with laser scanning and point cloud data management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven track record of onsite leadership of VDC activities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment on a project site and virtually.
• Experience in developing and implementing BIM execution plans.
• Strong understanding of construction processes and MEP systems.
• Willing to work on site at a project near Corpus Christi, TX.

Responsibilities

• Lead VDC/BIM delivery management across EPCM projects and align tech with client goals.
• Define digital delivery scope for project estimates and coordinate setup of models.
• Create and implement BIM Execution Plans for EPCM projects and manage CLash Detection.
• Coordinate laser scan data integration and facilitate Scan to BIM efforts.
• Lead on-site VDC activities and mentor field teams in BIM practices.
• Collaborate with clients, representatives, and contractors on design/construction.
