Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking a Virtual Design and Construction Engineer Lead (VDC Lead) to operate from Tempe, AZ, with involvement at sites across the US. You will lead VDC/BIM delivery, develop BEPs, coordinate 3D/4D/5D tasks, and oversee laser scanning and reality capture efforts.

Your role collaborates with clients and trades to ensure model-based construction success, with responsibilities spanning digital delivery strategy, field support, and training for field teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Architecture, Construction Management, or related field; 5 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide VDC/BIM/Digital Delivery management and leadership across projects.
• Create and implement BIM Execution Plans for EPCM.
• Integrate VDC tasks incl. 4D scheduling, 5D cost, 3D logistics.
• Manage Common Data Environment (Autodesk Construction Cloud) from design to construction.
• Lead Clash Detection and resolution meetings with design teams and trades.
• Coordinate laser scan data integration and Scan-to-BIM efforts.
• Lead field trainings on VDC processes and mobile device applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders during proposals and client engagements.
