The Weitz Company is seeking a VDC Engineer for its Mission Critical team on data center projects based in Boling, TX. You will design, manage, and implement VDC systems, coordinating with field and office teams to improve workflows and on-site problem-solving.

Ideal candidates have internship experience in construction supporting VDC, strong communication, and hands-on VDC tool knowledge (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks). LEAN experience is a plus and a proactive, detail-focused mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous internship experience in a construction role supporting VDC.
• LEAN principles experience is a plus.
• Experience coordinating with field teams and project staff is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Model development and coordination of VDC models with increasing independence.
• Provide field support including constructability coordination and LiDAR/scans.
• Apply VDC tools (3D/4D/5D) to improve workflows and create renderings.
• Collaborate with project teams to implement VDC workflows on the project lifecycle.
• Manage RFIs, ASIs, and digital documentation workflows.
