Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. in Austin seeks a VDC Engineer to provide BIM administration and coordination on project teams. You will assemble 3D models, support resolution of clashes, and prepare 4D schedules for construction activities and logistics.

The role involves on-site work at job sites, model reviews with subcontractors, RFIs, and preparing record models for owner handover. Bachelor degree preferred; strong tech interest and ability to learn Navisworks, Revit, and others.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction-related field required or equivalent.
• At least 1 year in the construction or design field.
• Experience with BIM tools and coordination preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and integrate a construction model for coordination and conflict resolution.
• Identify clashes between systems and resolve conflicts before on-site.
• Facilitate coordination meetings with subcontractors and vendors.
• Create 4D schedules linking model with project schedule.
• Review shop drawings and process RFIs.
• Prepare record models for owner handover.
