Job summary

Vestal Corporation in Missouri is seeking a Design Technology & VDC Manager to elevate first-in-class design technology and VDC capabilities across the company. You will collaborate with discipline directors to recruit and mentor BIM coordinators, advance interoperability with client platforms, maintain BIM standards, and drive training and reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree is required.
Minimum 5 years of BIM software experience required.
Experience with LiDAR equipment preferred.
Master level experience with Navisworks and Revizto preferred.
Experience with Engineering, Architecture, and Construction terminology required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to read and understand 2D and 3D drawings.
Strong attention to detail, collaboration, and problem-solving.
Ability to manage time, change, and adapt to new tech.

Responsibilities

Identify, recruit, train, mentor, and provide career direction to discipline BIM coordinators.
Monitor and report technology and innovation implementation progress.
Lead VDC readiness to support lean construction concepts like prefabrication.
Improve interoperability with client platforms (e.g., Procore).
Maintain CAD/BIM standards and procedures.
Onboard new BIM resources.
Develop compliance, monitoring, and training programs for VDC tools.
Coordinate with IT on systems requirements.
Ensure adherence to QC and PM procedures.
Promote a positive working environment and collaboration.
Monitor VDC security and publish reports.
