Job summary

Mortenson is seeking an Integrated Construction Manager to join our Data Center Group to lead VDC processes across project phases. You will supervise a dynamic team, coordinate with design and preconstruction, and manage 3D/4D modeling and reality capture efforts.

The role requires strong communication, integrity, and the ability to work in a changing environment, with opportunities to contribute to the VDC Playbook and drive best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum eight years of progressively challenging construction management experience or equivalent combining education and experience.
• Current driver's license.
• Experience managing and leading a dynamic team.
• Licensure in professional field is preferred.
• High level of competency with advanced software (2D, 3D and 4D).
• Proficiency with Autodesk Building Design Systems (Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Civil3D, 3Ds Max, Navisworks).
• Revizto, Synchro, Enscape, ArcGIS, Drone Deploy.
• Rendering and Animation experience a plus.
• Part 107 license a plus prior to joining, but essential to acquire early to support program's reality capture requirements

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and oversee VDC processes through appropriate technology platforms.
• Provide supervision and oversight of group's integrated construction team.
• Provide input towards improving lessons learned and best practices; contribute to VDC Playbook development.
• Coordinate with project leadership, design team members, and preconstruction services.
• Oversee the production and management of 3D and 4D models.
• Establish the scope of work for projects.
• Establish the schedule and deliverables for integrated delivery services.
• Oversee construction coordination.
• Communicate model generated information to project team.
• Capture, manage and communicate reality capture data and status visualizations.
• Implement 3D technology during construction.
• Participate in R&D of new technologies.
• Lead or be involved in internal training.
• Develop, modify and/or update project BIM to support scope and 3D coordination.
• Attend and present at BIM/VDC conferences and meetings.
• Manage others and potentially lead to leadership roles within the group.
• Provide support to the group beyond current location.
