Job summary

Hoffman Construction Company’s in-person CAD/Modeling TechIntern will support the VDC team on laser scanning, point cloud processing, BIM, and 3D modeling, collaborating with field personnel to turn classroom lessons into real project workflows and visuals.

The internship offers hands-on Practice with Leica Register 360, Revit, Civil 3D, Cyclone, and related reality capture software, plus opportunities for professional growth and exposure to project delivery and marketing materials.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Surveying or Geomatics.
• Interest in BIM, point clouds, and 3D modeling.
• Willingness to learn and work on site.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process, and archive point cloud files.
• Register and publish point cloud data.
• Develop 2D/3D maps and models using BIM software.
• Support project deliverables and marketing visuals.
