Job summary

W. G. Yates & Sons Construction Company is seeking a VDC Manager to lead BIM strategy across the project life cycle from design through facilities management on active projects. You will guide teams, drive BIM adoption, and coordinate VDC processes with field staff to improve collaboration and outcomes.

The role requires 10+ years in BIM/VDC, strong leadership and analytical skills, and expert knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Solibri. Travel to job sites will be required.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) + years’ experience in a BIM or VDC role.
• Experience leading BIM/VDC initiatives on construction projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement VDC strategy throughout the project life cycle.
• Provide leadership for BIM implementation.
• Lead VDC project setup and coordination.
• Lead BIM meetings and coordination sessions.
• Collaborate with project teams and sites to integrate 3D models.
• Track VDC metrics and drive continuous improvement.
