Job summary

Jobot is seeking an electrical design professional to develop and maintain 3D BIM models using Revit/Navisworks and produce construction drawings for fully coordinated electrical systems.

You will collaborate with engineers, project managers, and field teams to ensure designs are accurate, constructible, and compliant with NEC/NFPA standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in electrical design and drafting, preferably in a BIM/VDC environment.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
• Working knowledge of NEC/NFPA electrical codes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed 3D electrical models using Revit and Navisworks.
• Produce construction and fabrication drawings including plans, sections, and detailed layouts.
• Perform clash detection and coordinate electrical systems with architectural, structural, and MEP trades.
• Update models and drawings to reflect RFIs, field changes, and as-built conditions.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and field teams to ensure designs are accurate and constructible.
