Job summary

KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing is seeking an Electrical BIM Operator (Revit) to join our growing VDC team supporting commercial electrical projects in Salt Lake City. You will build and maintain accurate 3D BIM models, coordinate with engineers and project teams, and produce detailed shop drawings and construction documentation to drive project execution.

• Ability to read single-line diagrams, electrical plans, and construction documents.

• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for electrical systems, including telecom, fire alarm, and security systems.
• Review and implement BIM Execution Plans, project specifications, and Levels of Development (LOD).
• Coordinate with engineers, project managers, foremen, and contractors to resolve design conflicts.
• Produce accurate shop drawings, plan sets, schedules, and detailed construction documentation.
• Support the development and maintenance of BIM standards and project workflows.
• Participate in coordination meetings as needed.
• Collaborate with internal and external project teams throughout preconstruction.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and deliverables.

This role focuses on developing accurate BIM models, coordinating with project teams, and producing high-quality shop drawings that help drive successful project execution.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain 3D BIM models for electrical systems, including telecom, fire alarm, and security systems
