Skender Construction Company is seeking a VDC Manager to support their Virtual Design and Construction processes across multiple projects in Chicago. The role requires collaboration with project teams and trade partners to ensure effective implementation of BIM execution plans.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management with at least 5 years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and other BIM tools is essential. The position also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and retirement matching.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in VDC processes.
• Strong working knowledge of BIM tools and software.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of project-specific BIM Execution Plans.
• Create and maintain detailed project models using Revit and other modeling software.
• Lead model coordination, clash detection, and constructability reviews.
• Support reality capture and field layout workflows.
• Collaborate with the Senior VDC Manager on VDC standards.
• Work with Construction Technology to align VDC workflows with field technology.
• Provide project team support and training on VDC processes.
