Job summary

HNTB Corporation, based in Miami, FL, is seeking a VDC/BIM-support role to help develop and deliver digital construction solutions. You will assist in creating BIM models, coordinating, and producing visualizations, contributing to project delivery in a collaborative team environment.

The role emphasizes building foundational skills in VDC tools, modeling standards, and digital workflows while supporting laser scanning, drones, and cloud-based collaboration.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or certificate in CAD/BIM/VDC or 2 years of related experience.
• Exposure to BIM Levels of Development (LOD), clash detection and coordination.
• Familiarity with digital delivery tools such as Autodesk Construction Cloud, drones or VR.
• Basic scripting or automation experience (Dynamo, Grasshopper).

Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains BIM models using Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks, OpenRoads, OpenBridge Modeler, iTwin and SketchUp.
• Performs basic clash detection and model coordination.
• Produces 3D visualizations and animations using Lumion, Enscape.
• Supports digital delivery initiatives like laser scanning, drones and VR.
• Assists with cloud-based collaboration platforms such as Bentley Infrastructure Cloud, ACC and Trimble Connect.
• Participates in model reviews and contributes to data accuracy.
• Learns and applies VDC standards and digital workflows.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
