Job summary
HNTB in Miami, FL is seeking an entry- to mid-level VDC/BIM support specialist to assist in developing and delivering digital construction solutions across projects. You will build BIM models using Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks, SketchUp and create visualizations with Lumion or Enscape, while learning BIM standards and collaborative workflows.
This role focuses on foundational skills and team-based project delivery, with opportunities to grow in a leading infrastructure firm.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or CAD/BIM/VDC certificate or 2 years related experience.
- Familiarity with BIM software and visualization tools.
- Understanding of BIM LOD, clash detection, and coordination.
- Exposure to digital delivery tools like Autodesk Construction Cloud, drones or VR.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain BIM models using Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks, SketchUp.
- Perform basic clash detection and model coordination.
- Produce 3D visualizations with Lumion/Enscape.
- Support digital delivery initiatives (laser scanning, drones, VR).
- Assist with cloud-based collaboration platforms (Bentley/Trimble).
- Participate in model reviews and ensure data accuracy.
- Learn and apply VDC standards and workflows.
