Job summary

The Haskell Company is seeking a Virtual Construction Specialist in Frisco, TX to support BIM/VDC workflows across project coordination, scheduling, and 3D modeling. You will extract quantities from BIM, develop integrated coordination models, and collaborate with design and field teams to drive project success.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in BIM/VDC, proficiency with BIM/CAD tools, and strong communication skills to support project teams and innovate with new technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Technology.
• 1–3 years BIM/VDC experience in AEC preferred.
• Proficiency with BIM/CAD applications required.
• Programming/coding skills preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of AEC workflows (schematic design, design development, construction documentation).
• Understanding of delivery team roles (architects, engineers, estimators, project managers, field staff).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain integrated project coordination models using Navisworks; create clash reports.
• Participate in virtual collaboration meetings to solve complex coordination issues.
• Extract quantity data from BIM for estimating; cross-check drawings and specs for model accuracy.
• Create 3D models and integrated coordination drawings; develop parametric content for visualization.
• Provide model-based layout coordinates and as-built reports for field teams onsite.
• Process, register, and publish laser scan data for coordination and scan-to-BIM workflows.
• Create 4D/5D renderings and detailed schedule visualizations for proposals and teams.
• Support innovation through research and testing of new technologies.
• Assist field teams with drone and reality capture services as needed.
