Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a skilled VDC 4D Coordinator to unite models and schedules for smarter construction planning. You’ll connect 3D elements with construction timelines using SYNCHRO 4D Pro or similar tools, helping teams visualize sequencing and identify risks.

You’ll collaborate across time zones on multi-project deliverables, improve workflows, and contribute to 5D workflows linking quantities, schedules, and cost data.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years BIM/VDC experience with 4D modeling or sequencing.
• Experience with Revit and/or Navisworks.
• Proficiency with SYNCHRO or Fuzor; familiarity with 5D workflows.
• Ability to explain technical information clearly across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 4D models linking 3D elements with schedules using SYNCHRO Pro or comparable tools.
• Prepare/structure model data and parameters to support reliable schedule linking.
• Collaborate with project teams to evaluate sequencing and identify conflicts, constraints, risks, and opportunities.
• Create simulations, visualizations, and presentations to support planning discussions and communicate construction strategy.
• Keep models current as designs and priorities change; pivot between projects as needed.
• Coordinate with an international delivery team and ensure quality handoffs and deliverable readiness.
• Improve repeatable workflows and troubleshoot data integration issues; test automation for speed/accuracy.
• Help develop 5D workflows connecting model quantities, schedule activities, and cost data.
