Job summary

Vantage Elevation, LLC in Tukwila, WA, is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk for a full-time, Monday–Friday 6:00 AM–2:30 PM schedule to handle receiving, inspection, packaging, shipping and inventory tasks. You’ll support timely movement of materials while following safety and shipping standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse roles; forklift experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our Vertical Dimensions team at Vantage Elevation. You’ll play a hands-on role in supporting the accurate and timely movement of incoming and outgoing materials and products. This position performs receiving, inspection, documentation, packaging, shipping, inventory, and general warehouse activities while helping ensure compliance with established safety and shipping requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous shipping and receiving, warehouse, or related experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures, documentation, and applicable requirements.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to accurately maintain shipping and inventory records.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and protocols.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Ability to accurately measure to within 1/16 of an inch.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments of goods and materials.
• Verify shipment contents for accuracy against applicable shipping documentation.
• Record and track shipment information using computer systems or manual logs.
• Package, label, and prepare outgoing shipments for delivery.
• Select and arrange carriers and transportation methods based on shipment requirements and destination.
• Coordinate with other departments to support timely and accurate shipment and delivery of materials and products.
• Maintain inventory records and monitor stock levels.
• Identify and report shipment discrepancies, damaged materials, or other shipping and receiving issues.
• Follow applicable shipping regulations, company procedures, and safety standards.
• Load and unload materials using a forklift as required.
• Perform general warehouse duties and activities as needed.
• Maintain an organized, safe, and efficient shipping and receiving work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move boxes, packages, and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Perform the physical activities associated with shipping, receiving, material handling, and general warehouse operations.
• Safely operate a forklift when trained and authorized.
