Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division seeks a VAVE Division Engineering Manager to own the value analysis/engineering roadmap and drive cross‑functional optimization. You will lead a global engineering team, partner with design, manufacturing, and procurement, and deliver cost‑effective design improvements across products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum seven (7) years of engineering responsibility including project management.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience managing of an engineering team.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration or permit CPT/OPT/STEM OPT for this position.
• No relocation benefit is being offered; candidates must reside within 50 miles of Moon Township or Peachtree City, GA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own Tech Roadmap for VAVE – blended with NPI Tech Roadmap.
• Conduct analyses of existing products to improve design, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Deliver projects that optimize design, processes, and cost structures to enhance value.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, quality improvement, and efficiency across the product lifecycle.
• Lead value engineering ideation events across sites and suppliers to meet savings goals.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and procurement to implement cost-effective solutions.
• Use Pro-PM and waterline processes to prioritize projects and allocate resources.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans for value engineering initiatives.
• Stay current with industry trends to benchmark against competitors.
• Document best practices and deploy them across teams.
