Job summary

UNC Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the Vascular Surgery and Wound Care team in Chapel Hill, NC. The APP will provide wound and vascular patient care, work with a vascular surgeon, and participate in research and quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities include in-office procedures, imaging/labs coordination, and developing treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians. Onsite full-time position with standard daytime schedule.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (NP) program.
• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Provider in the state of North Carolina.
• Board certification if required by the Department. DEA.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Manage wound care clinics including venous, arterial, pressure injuries and diabetic wounds of the lower extremities.
• Collaborate with vascular surgeons in clinic management and patient care.
• Engage in daily quality improvement and protocol development to improve patient care.
