Job summary

UNC Health in Raleigh, NC seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to join the interdisciplinary vascular team. The APP provides high-quality care under physician supervision, within privileging and scope of practice.

Responsibilities include clinical assessment, education of patients and staff, leadership in projects, and ongoing quality improvement, with a rotating schedule and 40 hours weekly. This full-time onsite role requires completion of an accredited APRN/PA program, NC licensure, and board

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA) program.
North Carolina APRN/PA licensure with board certification if required; DEA.
No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

Clinical: obtains health history, performs physicals, interprets tests, develops and implements treatment plans.
Education: educates patients/families and staffs; develops educational materials; teaches physicians, housestaff and students.
Leadership: provides instruction and leads outreach, participates in system improvements.
Professional: communicates respectfully, collaborates with team, documents care and supports patient needs.
Quality/Research: engages in daily quality improvement and leads interdisciplinary teams to improve care.
