Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Vascular Technologist to perform a full range of vascular exams using ultrasound and testing modalities. You will rotate to off-site locations to serve patients with local testing availability and collaborate with physicians on exam findings.

The role requires ARDMS/CCI/AAA certifications, an Associate’s Degree in Sonography, and BLS within 30 days. Excellent imaging quality and meticulous documentation are essential.

Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days (AHA)
• Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) - CCI
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT-VT) - ARDMS
• Associate's Degree in Sonography

Responsibilities

• Cross-trains to other divisions of CV Services.
• Demonstrates imaging quality by critiquing positioning, factors and alignment.
• Reviews patient data for accuracy, quality and completeness.
• Documents accurately and completely.
• Performs routine and complex vascular ultrasound imaging procedures per guidelines.
• Perform various vascular ultrasound exams per physician orders and protocols.
• Rotate to off-site mobile locations to serve patients with local testing availability; take call during holidays, nights and weekends.
• Proper cleaning of equipment and rooms between patients.
• Document findings to communicate with physicians.
