Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Vascular Technologist to perform a full range of vascular exams using ultrasound and related modalities. The role includes rotating to off-site mobile locations to expand patient access and takes call during holidays, nights, and weekends.

Qualified candidates hold an Associate’s Degree in Sonography with BLS certification and ARDMS/CCI credentials (RVS and RVT-VT). Excellent imaging quality, data accuracy, and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days (AHA).
• Registration as RVS-CCI and RVT-VT (ARDMS) preferred.
• Associate’s degree in Sonography or equivalent.
• Experience with vascular ultrasound imaging is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex vascular ultrasound imaging procedures following departmental guidelines.
• Take call during rotating holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Rotate to off-site mobile locations to serve patients with local testing availability.
• Ensure proper cleaning of equipment and rooms between patients.
• Review patient data for accuracy and communicate findings to physicians.

BLS certification within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)

Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)

Registered Vascular Technologist - Vascular Technology (RVT‑VT) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
