Carle Health is seeking a Vascular Technologist to perform a full range of vascular exams using ultrasound and related modalities within our CV Services division in Illinois.

The role requires BLS within 30 days, ARDMS credentials (RVT‑VT) and CCI certification (RVS), plus an Associate’s Degree in Sonography. The incumbent will travel to mobile sites as needed and participate in on-call rotation, while maintaining high imaging quality and precise documentation.

Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days (AHA)

Responsibilities

• Cross-trains to other divisions of CV Services.
• Demonstrates acceptable imaging quality standards by critiquing positioning, technical factors and alignment.
• Reviews patient data for accuracy, quality and completeness.
• Documents accurately and completely.
• Performs routine and complex vascular ultrasound imaging procedures following departmental guidelines.
• Perform a variety of vascular ultrasound exams according to physician orders and standing protocols.
• Rotate to off-site mobile locations to serve patients with local testing availability.
• Take call during rotating holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Proper cleaning of equipment and rooms between patients.
• Document appropriately to accurately communicate with physicians on patient history and exam findings.
