Job summary

Candidates must hold BLS certification, ARDMS/ARDMS RVT-VT, and CCI RVS credentials, plus an Associate’s Degree in Sonography. The position requires flexibility for call shifts and rotating holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days (AHA).
• RVS (CCI) certification.
• RVT-VT (ARDMS) certification.
• Associate’s degree in Sonography.

Responsibilities

• Cross-trains to other divisions of CV Services.
• Demonstrates imaging quality by critiquing positioning, technical factors and alignment.
• Reviews patient data for accuracy, quality and completeness.
• Documents accurately and completely.
• Performs routine and complex vascular ultrasound imaging procedures following departmental guidelines.
• Perform a variety of vascular ultrasound exams, according to physician orders and standing protocols.
• Rotate to off-site mobile locations to serve patients with local testing availability.
• Take call during rotating holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Proper cleaning of equipment and rooms between patients
• Document appropriately to accurately communicate with physicians on patient history and exam findings.
