Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Vascular Technologist to perform a full range of vascular exams using ultrasound and testing, supporting our CV Services team. You will strive for imaging quality, review patient data, document findings, and perform routine and complex vascular ultrasound exams per physician orders and protocols.

You may rotate to off-site mobile locations and take call during holidays, nights, and weekends; keep equipment clean and communicate results to physicians.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Sonography required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire required.
• RVS certification (CCI) preferred.
• RVT-VT certification (ARDMS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cross-trains to other divisions of CV Services.
• Demonstrates imaging quality by critiquing positioning, factors and alignment.
• Reviews patient data for accuracy, quality and completeness.
• Documents findings accurately.
• Performs routine and complex vascular ultrasound procedures per physician orders and protocols.
• Rotate to off-site mobile locations to serve patients.
• Take call during rotating holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Clean and prepare equipment and rooms between patients.
• Document communication with physicians about history and exam findings.

Education

Associate’s Degree: Sonography

BLS Certification within 30 days (AHA)

RVS - Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
