Carle Health is seeking a qualified Vascular Technologist to perform a full range of vascular exams using ultrasound and related modalities. The role includes cross-training across CV Services, maintaining high image quality, and precise documentation for physician review.

Qualifications include BLS within 30 days, ARDMS credentials (RVS/RVT‑VT), and an Associate’s Degree in Sonography. The position may involve mobile site work and after-hours on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) credential.
Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT‑VT) credential.
Associate’s Degree in Sonography from an accredited program.
ARDMS certification or eligibility.

Responsibilities

Cross-trains to other divisions of CV Services.
Critique imaging positioning, technical factors and alignment to ensure quality.
Review patient data for accuracy, quality and completeness.
Document accurately and completely.
Perform routine and complex vascular ultrasound imaging per physician orders and protocols.
Rotate to off-site mobile locations to serve patients.
Take call during rotating holidays, nights, and weekends.
Clean and prepare equipment and rooms between patients.
Document findings to communicate with physicians about patient history and exam results.
