Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Vascular Technologist (PRN) to independently perform comprehensive vascular ultrasound studies including arterial, venous, carotid, transcranial and abdominal assessments. You will promptly report abnormal findings to providers and document results accurately, while coordinating lab schedules with nursing and physician offices.

A 2-year ultrasound program and RVT certification are required, with ARDMS/CCI within 1 year for new grads.

Qualifications

• Completion of a 2-year ultrasound program.
• Certified Vascular Technologist (RVT).
• New graduates must obtain ARDMS or CCI certification within 1 year.
• 2+ years of clinical experience highly preferred.
• Ability to independently perform arterial, venous and carotid imaging.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform vascular ultrasound testing, including arterial, venous, carotid, transcranial and abdominal vascular studies.
• Communicate abnormal or positive findings promptly to providers and maintain accurate documentation.
• Coordinate daily vascular lab schedules and collaborate with nursing units and physician offices.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout testing and respond appropriately to emergencies.
• Operate and maintain vascular ultrasound equipment and support department operations, staff training and accreditation activities.
