Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered RVT or RT(VS)(ARRT) or RDMS with vascular focus is required
• BLS certification required
• 2+ years vascular sonography experience preferred
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• English reading/writing proficiency required
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Attends department meetings and supports department objectives
• Obtains high-quality ultrasound scans following exam protocols
• Verifies patient identity and exam accuracy before procedures
• Performs ultrasound procedures and documents results promptly
• Reviews images and completes reports; revises as needed
• Communicates with multidisciplinary team and notifies physicians of abnormal findings
• Operates and maintains ultrasound equipment safely and adheres to infection control
• Assists with training junior staff and participates in process improvements
