Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Vascular Technologist to independently operate sonography equipment and perform arterial and venous exams. You will communicate diagnostic findings to the on-site physician team, educate patients, and contribute to the daily operation and safety of the vascular lab.

The role requires ARDMS certification in relevant specialties or registry eligibility with RVT to be obtained within 12 months, and Basic Life Support certification.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Active certification by ARDMS in specialty or registry eligible, obtain RVT within 12 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate sonographic equipment to perform arterial and venous studies.
• Communicate results of diagnostic examinations to physicians.
• Educate and inform patients and family members throughout care.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and lab, and ensure safety and infection control.
• Participate in maintaining vascular laboratory accreditation.
