Job summary

Mercy Health seeks a Vascular Technologist to perform diagnostic, non-invasive vascular exams using ultrasound and physiologic testing equipment. You will maintain department accreditation, ensure data accuracy, and document procedures with a patient-centric approach.

Applicants should have an associate degree in a cardiovascular/ultrasound field, be credentialed or eligible for RVT/ARDMS/ARRT, and possess BLS or acquire it prior to direct patient care. On-call duties are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in applied health sciences with vascular focus (required).
• Credentialing in vascular technology preferred within 1 year of hire: RVT/ARDMS/ARRT.
• BLS training preferred by hire or prior to direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic, non-invasive vascular exams using ultrasound and physiologic testing equipment.
• Maintain accreditation and regulatory compliance of the Vascular department.
• Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and proper documentation of patient data.
• Demonstrate knowledge of vascular anatomy, exam procedures, and interpretation criteria.
• On-Call is required.
