Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health, Inc. in Winchester is seeking a Vascular Technologist for a 24-hour flexible schedule. You will independently operate sonographic equipment to perform arterial and venous studies and communicate findings to the physician team.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily lab operations, maintaining equipment, supporting vascular laboratory accreditation, and educating patients throughout their experience. ARDMS certification or registry eligibility and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a formal Diagnostic Medical Sonography program that is accredited.
• Preferred: Associates Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• Active certification by ARDMS or registry eligible; must obtain RVT within 12 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support certification required.
• Must read, write and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate sonographic equipment to perform arterial and venous examinations.
• Communicate findings of diagnostic examinations to physicians.
• Educate patients and families throughout their experience.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and work area; assist with daily lab operations.
• Participate in maintenance of vascular laboratory accreditation and safety protocols.
