Qualifications

• Current BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) certification and RVT-VT certification.
• Associate’s Degree in Sonography.

Responsibilities

• Cross-trains to other divisions of CV Services.
• Demonstrates acceptable imaging quality standards by critiquing positioning, technical factors and alignment.
• Reviews patient data for accuracy, quality and completeness.
• Documents accurately and completely.
• Performs routine and complex vascular ultrasound imaging procedures following departmental guidelines.
• Perform a variety of vascular ultrasound exams, according to physician orders and standing protocols.
• Rotate to off-site mobile locations to serve patients with local testing availability. Take call during rotating holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Proper cleaning of equipment and rooms between patients.
• Document appropriately to accurately communicate with physicians on patient history and exam findings.
