Job summary

Carle Health seeks a Vascular Technologist to perform a full range of vascular exams using ultrasound and related testing in our CV Services program. The role emphasizes imaging accuracy, patient care, and collaboration with physicians at multiple sites.

You will rotate to off-site mobile locations, participate in on-call rotations during holidays and nights, and maintain strict equipment and room hygiene while documenting findings for physicians.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Sonography.
• BLS certification within 30 days.
• RVS certification (CCI).
• RVT‑VT certification (ARDMS).

Responsibilities

• Cross-trains to other divisions of CV Services.
• Demonstrates acceptable imaging quality standards by critiquing positioning, technical factors and alignment.
• Reviews patient data for accuracy, quality and completeness.
• Documents accurately and completely.
• Performs routine and complex vascular ultrasound imaging procedures following departmental guidelines.
• Perform a variety of vascular ultrasound exams, according to physician orders and standing protocols.
• Rotate to off-site mobile locations to serve patients with local testing availability.
• Take call during rotating holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Proper cleaning of equipment and rooms between patients.
• Document appropriately to accurately communicate with physicians on patient history and exam findings.
