Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Vascular Technologist to perform a full range of vascular ultrasound examinations using diverse equipment and modalities. You will ensure imaging quality, review patient data, and document findings for physician interpretation.

The role includes rotating to off-site mobile locations to improve local access to testing and taking call on rotating holidays and nights. The ideal candidate holds BLS, RVS, and RVT‑VT certifications and an Associate’s Degree in Sonography,

Qualifications

• Certifications required or within 30 days of start: BLS (AHA), RVS (CCI), RVT‑VT (ARDMS).
• Associate’s Degree in Sonography is required or preferred.
• Training or experience in vascular ultrasound imaging and patient documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform diverse vascular ultrasound exams per physician orders and protocols.
• Maintain imaging quality by correct positioning and technical factors.
• Document patient data, findings and communication with physicians.
• Rotate to off-site mobile locations to serve patients locally.
• Take call during certain holidays, nights and weekends; ensure proper equipment cleaning.
