Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Vascular Technologist to perform a full range of vascular exams using ultrasound equipment. The role requires BLS, RVS and RVT-VT certifications and an Associate’s Degree in Sonography.

You will perform routine and complex vascular ultrasound procedures, rotate to off-site locations, and participate in on-call duties during holidays, nights and weekends. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days (AHA)
• RVS certification (CCI)
• RVT-VT certification (ARDMS)
• Associate’s Degree: Sonography

Responsibilities

• Cross-trains to other divisions of CV Services.
• Demonstrates imaging quality by critiquing positioning, technical factors and alignment.
• Reviews patient data for accuracy, quality and completeness.
• Documents imaging findings accurately and completely.
• Performs routine and complex vascular ultrasound procedures per protocols.
• Rotates to off-site mobile locations to serve patients.
• Take call during rotating holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Clean and disinfect equipment and rooms between patients.
