Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Vascular Technologist to perform a full range of vascular ultrasound exams across multiple sites. The role requires certification in BLS within 30 days, and credentials as RVS and RVT‑VT, along with an Associate’s Degree in Sonography.

You will rotate to off-site mobile locations, critique imaging quality, review patient data, and document findings for physicians. Call duties during holidays, nights, and weekends are included.

Qualifications

• Certifications: BLS within 30 days (AHA).
• RVS (CCI).
• RVT‑VT (ARDMS).
• Associate’s Degree: Sonography.

Responsibilities

• Cross-trains to other divisions of CV Services.
• Demonstrates imaging quality standards by critiquing positioning, factors and alignment.
• Reviews patient data for accuracy, quality and completeness.
• Documents accurately and completely.
• Performs routine and complex vascular ultrasound imaging procedures per guidelines.
• Performs a variety of vascular ultrasound exams per physician orders and protocols.
• Rotates to off-site mobile locations to serve patients with testing availability.
• Takes call during rotating holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Cleans equipment and rooms between patients.
• Documents findings to communicate with physicians.
